Nicky is an artist inspired by her surroundings. A Vancouverite who has newly relocated to New York City, her newest paintings are inspired by her fascination with the natural juxtapositions of New York City through the eyes of a newcomer - the intermingling of new and old, high and low end, tourist vs local, street level vs above street level.
